About D&W Nameplate Services
Providing identification and nameplate services since 1958D & W Nameplate Service, Inc. was established in April of 1958 with an idea of supplying custom identification plates to the petrochemical and electrical fields in Houston, TX. In 1958, the business was started by Robert White in a one car garage on a part-time basis.
The business quickly grew so quickly that Robert was unable to manage on a part-time basis, which led to the decision to leave his current employment and focus all of his efforts on his nameplate business.
We are currently at our 4th location which is a 4,000 sq. ft. facility in Northwest Houston that house 6 rotary machines and 6 laser machines, saw room, and a paint booth.
The company is named after his two sons (Dennis and Wayne), who joined the business after they finished school. Although Robert and Wayne are no longer with us, the business continues to be family oriented even today.
The principle goal at D & W is to establish a personal relationship with each customer and to meet all the customer’s engraving needs in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service and products.
